Odette, a Goose of Toulouse

You may recognize Earl Hamner as the creator of the celebrated television show, The Waltons, and scribe for several fine episodes of The Twilight Zone. Don Sipes was a Hollywood writer and producer who also ran, at different points of his career, Universal Television, MGM, United Artists, and Lorimar Pictures.

Together they’ve penned this charming story of a singing goose and her adventures in and around Toulouse, France along with a whole host of other animal friends. Illustrated by the 6th Grade students at Wallins Elementary and Junior High School in Wallins Creek, Kentucky, this is a wonderful book not just for children, but for adults who are young at heart.
